Title: Sales Manager

Department: Sales and Marketing - TFC

Reports to: Director, Cable and Satellite

Job Objective:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Develops, trains, and supports independent dealers and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for dealers and customer support groups.

Responsibilities:

· Develops a business plan, sales forecast, and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
· Responsible for the performance and development of independent dealers.
· Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
· Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
· Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
· Conducts one-on-one review with all independent dealers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of independent dealer's sales and activity performance.
· Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
· Provides timely and accurate market information including competitive reports and analysis.
· Maintains accurate records of all sales and activity reports and proposals submitted by independent dealers.
· Develops relationships with the Filipino community and conducts product presentations to various grassroots organizations.
· Initiates development of dealer incentives, rewards programs, sales kits, and other sales materials.
· Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
· Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
· Recruits, tests, and accredits independent dealers based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.

Relationships and Roles:

Internal / External Cooperation

· Insures that all independent dealers meet or exceed agreed sales targets and are compensated in a proper and timely manner.
· Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
· Sets examples for independent dealers and co-employees in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
· Conducts regular coaching and counseling with independent dealers and their sales agents to build motivation and selling skills.
· Maintains contact with community organizations in the market area to ensure high visibility and awareness for the company.
· Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

Job Specifications:

· 5-7 years of experience in sales management.
· Extensive experience in all aspects of Dealer Relationship Management.
· Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
· Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
· Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or related course
· Proficient in MS Office applications
· Excellent verbal/written skills
· Fluent in English and Tagalog
· Legal right to work in the U.S.
· Strong understanding of internet technology a plus but not required
· Experience with media companies a plus but not required
